Competition Structure And The Format Of Questions

ADEPT Chinese

*Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MC Questions)

ADEPT Chinese is a specialized language-learning program designed for native Cantonese speakers studying Chinese. It offers comprehensive resources to enhance their language skills in sentence making, sentence extending, and vocabulary. Through interactive exercises, students can practice constructing grammatically correct sentences and expanding them with descriptive elements. One of the key features of ADEPT Chinese is its emphasis on sentence construction, enabling students to develop their skills in formulating grammatically correct and meaningful sentences. ADEPT Chinese offers a supportive and immersive learning experience for native Cantonese speakers, empowering them to excel in their Chinese language studies.

ADEPT Chinese Plus+

*Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MC Questions) and open-ended questions

Chinese is also one of the main languages in the world. ADEPT Chinese Plus+ is special for students who are non-native Chinese speakers. It will have two languages, traditional and simplified Chinese, to assist students in discovering and exploring Chinese culture and its grammar.

The ADEPT Chinese Plus+ as an additional language syllabus consists of three levels: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. The competition content will be modeled after the question types of IGCSE Chinese examinations, including reading comprehension, vocabulary matching, translation, word filling, correction, and sentence rearranging. Our goal is to test participants’ Chinese language proficiency in a fun and relaxed way, while also encouraging more people to learn and use Chinese. No matter your level of Chinese, you are welcome to take on the challenge and show off your skills!

ADEPT English

*Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MC Questions)

ADEPT English goes beyond grammar and language usage. By incorporating diverse themes, ADEPT English provides students with interesting and relevant content. The competition covers a wide range of language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication. ADEPT English creates a dynamic learning environment that fosters language proficiency and encourages students to explore various topics with enthusiasm. It is not only focused on the use of English, but it also implements different kinds of topics and subjects such as STEM and poetry into the papers to make it fun.
